FromU2Them – Location of Oxygen Concentrators

Following from the announcement last week that the NextEnergy Foundation is supporting the distribution of oxygen concentrators to hospitals and COVID-19 centres in India in response to the pandemic, I am pleased to confirm the locations where the concentrators will be directed:

• 10 in Hyderabad, Telangana, in proximity to the NEC office;
• 10 in Chitradurga, Karnataka, where NextPower III has two solar assets; and,
• 5 in Kalahandi, Odisha, where NextPower III has a solar asset.

In each of these locations, the oxygen concentrators will serve two purposes: the first is to provide essential support for those who continue to suffer from the pandemic and the second is to boost resilience against the looming third wave. Further details on the progress of the distributions will be provided shortly.
