NextEnergy Foundation Continues to Tackle Fuel Poverty in the UK

Date: 24/04/2023

NextEnergy Foundation (“NEF”, “the Foundation”) has been working with organisations to address fuel-related poverty since 2021. In 2022, we established a partnership with Depher CIC to address rising levels of such poverty across the UK.

The Foundation has renewed its commitment to working with Depher and expand our reach. Over the last year, we have supported 450 vulnerable individuals and families by paying their gas and electric bills and distributing food vouchers. Depher is seeing the greatest need coming from people having to choose between heating and eating. Part of NEF’s donation is also being allocated towards buying school uniform and supplies for children.
