Providing Support in Ukraine with Soleterre

In 2024 NextEnergy Foundation, in partnership with Soleterre, funded the installation, operation and maintenance of the 13.3kWp rooftop solar PV system at a Family House (“Dacha”) in Kyiv, Ukraine.

The Dacha offers free accommodation for families with seriously ill children undergoing treatment in Kyiv.

Thanks to the solar system, the Dacha Family House remained fully powered during Ukraine’s blackouts.

Between December 2024 and May 2025, 188 children and family members received uninterrupted care. The system now ensures resilience, cost savings, and long-term sustainability.
