Giulia Guidi is a senior expert on environmental, social and governance (ESG) risk management with a deep and extensive knowledge of the ESG trends for the financial sector.
As a former Executive Director at J.P. Morgan Chase, Giulia spent the last 10 years advancing responsible business globally and across multiple sectors, with a particular focus on mining, oil&gas, power, agriculture and manufacturing. She has a long term experience on investment transaction due-diligence, including project finance, equity and debt capital markets, green bonds, corporate lending, and trade finance. Her areas of expertise are business and human rights as well as conservation.
She is well recognised for her positive and constructive contribution in multi-stakeholder forums and boards: whilst at J.P. Morgan she was appointed as a member of the Advisory Group of the OECD Responsible Business Conduct for the implementation of the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises (OECD MNE) and the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGP) for the financial sector. She led various engagements with clients with open complains raised through the OECD NCP process.
Giulia is also a Trustee of NextEnergy Foundation and an Associate Director at Earth Security Group. She holds a MsSc degree in Environmental Engineer and a MsScEng in Renewable Energy Policy and Markets.
