Donation from NextEnergy Solar Fund

NextEnergy Foundation is excited to announce that it has received a donation of £50,000 from the NextEnergy Solar Fund, NextEnergy Capital’s listed-equity fund. The donation will be used to support some of the upcoming projects which NextEnergy Foundation is funding, including:

• providing fuel vouchers to those living in fuel poverty across the UK, in partnership with npower Pop-Up Fuel Bank
• building energy-efficient cookstoves and equipping local health posts with solar power and electrical equipment in the Surkhet District of Nepal, in partnership with Renewable World and,
• increasing access to water sources in the Oromia Region of Ethiopia by installing a solar pumping system to rehabilitate a non-functioning borehole, in partnership with COOPI.
