Since 2017, NEF has supported rural Energy Hubs and school lighting across Northern Malawi, enabling night classes and expanding clean energy access.
SolarAid
Since 2022, NEF has contributed to SolarAid’s Light a Village programme in Malawi, bringing clean energy to 8,813 households through an Energy-as-a-Service model.
Sopowerful Foundation
Building on healthcare projects benefiting 80,000+ patients annually, NEF and Sopowerful will, in 2026, support 40,000 patients and 80 women farmers in Malawi.
