News from Malawi: Kasakula is 100% solar

Thanks to the multi‑year support from NextEnergy Foundation (starting in 2023) and the ongoing work of SolarAid, Kasakula, Malawi, has become the first rural territory in the country to achieve 100% solar coverage, completing the Light a Village project. All households, schools, and the community clinic now benefit from clean, reliable energy delivered through SolarAid’s community‑driven service model.
